Diamond Aces flying field (B) is located about one mile north and about a half mile east of Clearspring Center (A). Turn East on Clearspring Road (by Bigfreight/Enns Brothers/Co-op), drive about 1/2 mile then turn left on the small gravel road just past the cement plant. If you have open field on your left, you've gone too far. The GPS coordinates are N 49.55, W -96.69. Diamond Aces - Field Rules
Revised Field Rules: April 2011
- All Pilots must be current members of MAAC or AMA.
- Frequency Board in effect for all but 2.4GHz transmitters.
- Frequency pins to be removed after every flight.
- Maximum four aircraft in the air at one time.
- Range Check your aircraft before the first flight of the day.
- Know your equipment and keep track of your battery power.
- Please use aircraft restraint systems or have someone hold it for you.
- Use Caution and Consideration when running up your engine in the pits.
- Taxiing behind the pilot stations is not permitted.
- Do not fly on the spectator side of the flight line.
- Announce your intentions eg. take off, landing, dead stick, etc.
- Always exercise courtesy and care to all.
